Cortez "Union LA - Black/Blue" DR1413 001

The Union x Nike Cortez “Black/Blue” is a collaboration between the Los Angeles based clothing and sneaker boutique and Nike on the retro running shoe that honors both the model’s legacy, as well as its caché in the greater Los Angeles area. Also celebrating the Nike Cortez's 50th anniversary in 2022, the Union co-designed “Black/Blue” updates the silhouette with its signature colors and textures for a look unlike anything ever seen before as it pertains to the classic shoe. Black suede overlays contrast the striped knit base. Bright green accenting appears on the heel overlay with Union’s “Frontman” logo. Additional green detailing comes into play on the tongue tag and on the suede overlay on the base of the vamp. The lower portion of the shoe is made from sustainable materials as Nike’s recycled Crater Foam and Grind textiles comprise the midsole and outsole, respectively. Release date: June 21, 2022
